We received 76 Congregational Assessment Tool Surveys returned! THANK YOU! I appreciate Susan Rowland Miller’s leading the session and a few other church leaders through the interpretation of the survey results Saturday, March 13.

She left us with the instruction to “let it simmer for 4 weeks as we seek discernment”. We do not need, and should not, rush through this process. This is not the end, but a new beginning on identifying who we are, what are our priorities, where is our energy and where are we headed. We want to find ways to share the results, hear your questions and listen to the congregation as a whole.

I surely envision setting up sharing and listening sessions after Easter all the way through the summer. This is good, and work we have in front of us. Thank you for your patience and willingness to wrestle with who we are as a church and who has God called us to be? Let the Holy Cow Committee hear from you: Christina Guenther, Donna Nelson-Beene, Jennifer Codding, Tammy Schnitker and David Montgomery.
